Detailed Introduction

  Electro-hydraulic actuators represent an integrated combination of hydraulic, mechanical, electronic, and control technologies. They address the issues of low control accuracy found in pneumatic actuators and poor controllability in electric actuators. With a simple structure, they truly achieve electromechanical–hydraulic integration and eliminate the need for external oil sources or piping. Actuators can be custom‑designed according to user requirements.

  Main application features:

  ① High torque and thrust;

  ② Short switching time;

  ③ The valve can still be opened and closed even without a power source.

  ④ Application areas: Oil pipelines, emergency shutdown systems for oil storage tank farms, water conservancy surge suppression and emergency shutdown systems, wellheads, petrochemical facilities, blast furnace vent stacks in steel plants, and fast-closing gas valves in power plants and mines, among others.

  1. Electro-hydraulic actuators can be divided into two categories: on-off type and regulating type. On-off hydraulic actuators are primarily used to shut off valves in pipelines, providing both normal opening and closing functions as well as emergency shutdown capabilities. Regulating electro-hydraulic actuators, on the other hand, adjust the valve to any desired angle based on the magnitude of the input analog signal, while simultaneously providing signal feedback, thereby enabling precise control of pipeline flow with an adjustment accuracy of up to 1%.

  2. Hydraulic actuators are classified as either single-acting or double-acting. Single-acting actuators use a spring to return the valve to its default position, enabling rapid emergency shutdown in case of failure, while also featuring a compact design and fast response time; double-acting actuators, on the other hand, offer the advantage of high torque within a small footprint.

  3. Based on the operational characteristics of maritime vessels, we have specially developed an immersion-type hydraulic actuator that can be submerged up to 60 meters below sea level; we have also pioneered an immersion-type valve position indicator that allows crew members on board to clearly monitor the open/closed status of valves.
