Meeting Information:

The China International Pipeline Conference (CIPC) was initiated in 2004 by the Petroleum Storage and Transportation Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Petroleum. Co-hosted by China National Petroleum Corporation Pipeline Company, China National Petroleum Corporation Pipeline Bureau, the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), NACE International, and China University of Petroleum (Beijing), it is a society‑organized conference aimed at advancing domestic oil and gas storage and transportation technology while fostering international academic and cooperative exchanges.

As the first high‑end international academic conference held after the establishment of the National Pipeline Group, this exhibition places a strong emphasis on fostering an international perspective and exploring cutting‑edge, globally oriented oil and gas pipeline storage and transportation technologies—while also lending a authoritative voice to China’s pipeline industry. According to reports, the exhibition is themed “Innovation, Green Development, and Safety,” with the aim of strengthening international exchanges and cooperation in pipeline technology. It will delve into new technologies, new equipment, and new materials, as well as emerging technologies such as big data, cloud computing, intelligent sensing, and digital twins, jointly examining the development directions, opportunities, and challenges facing the pipeline technology sector in the new era. The exhibition boasts a total area of 16,500 square meters, bringing together participants from six countries, with 300 leading global industry giants taking part.

This conference is structured around a “1+8+X” model—featuring 1 main venue, 8 thematic forums, and X academic salons—employing a variety of audio‑visual and multimedia approaches, including display boards, physical exhibits, simulation demonstrations, and video screenings, to present the latest research findings in domestic and international pipeline technology and equipment in a high‑standard, three‑dimensional, and centralized manner, thereby injecting global momentum into the rapid development of the pipeline industry.
